Spread 225 – Why I Go Away October 28, 2013

225- Why I Go away.My relationships as I know them to be, with people, with places, with time, my age, nature, and the creative process, are ever changing. They get intimate and distanced, they contract and expand adapting to the clearly visible or misunderstood personal transformations. Lessons are learned and taken away. Some of them end. Either way relationships don’t go wrong, nothing goes wrong, no-one is wrong, no place or time or event is wrong. Love stays in tact while form, temporarily or permanently, changes.

Everything changes, wonderfully.

Yes, it is not always an easy lesson to learn that relationships change, but that is the nature of EVOLUTION…nothing is ever static, not even relationships.

gorgeous images and profound sentiments amiga For some reason it reminded me also of this quote. One of my favorites xo
“We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly.
We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.”

Ah! So much wisdom is so few words! (wish I’d said that …) You are a treasure, Orly!

So textural, the background works so well to bring your figures out. Love your words, they are warm reminders of the way that life works, being open to this eb and flow…Love remains, but form changes, what a powerful message. Thank you fro sharing.

I was looking for an explanation about relationships that I did not understand until I read your words and I needed to know that nothing or no one is wrong . Thank you very much and I feel calm now. Thanks for sharing your wisdom .

Beautiful work Orly! Embracing change is something I’ve had to consciously work on this year. Lots of challenges, and the only way through it seems to be by going with the flow…

Beautiful work Orly! It’s been a year of great changes in my life, most of them challenging. The way through it seems to be to accept it and go with the flow.

I have a whole narrative going in my head about this spread. It is a family. Mom and daughter on the left and father son on the right. The son is in deep trouble with dad! Now I can go read what you wrote.:-) Love this piece!
