Spread 230 – Mini Altars November 23, 2013Posted by Orly in Uncategorized.
Journal pages are my mini altars, flat blank surfaces I use in order for me to become mindful of my intimate rituals. Mostly for making offerings to myself. Reconciling differences, primarily for understanding what the heck is going on with me. Rituals causing changes in composition, altering my own. Constantly adjusting and adopting new perceptions of who I am in relation to me, others, truth, or myth, story, and history. Through my mini altars I repeatedly ask tender questions about time and place and how I fit in. What are my takeaways and what do I give away. Arguing my stubborn stances against my fluidity. Then finding calm. Then sharing it with those who want to join me.
