My 2014 Teaching Schedule January 2, 2014Posted by Orly in Uncategorized.
MAKING ROOM seems to emerge as my motto this year. It is rich in personal meaning to me but I’d like it to become that for you too. The saying ‘making room’ offers us such vastness, wideness, limitlessness. Make room for the sensuous for example, the lucid, the loving, the nourishing of otherness, the moving, the textured, for the shifted, the vigorous, the real. Make room for your budding truths. There is no doubt in my whole being that the phenomenal form of expression we call art-journaling is the vessel through which we find what we need to make room for.
With my 2014 teaching schedule I hope to present to you and me boundless opportunities to explore widely and deeply our relationships with all that is alive and tactile within us and needs reminders. This year I will keep on offering my 2-day intimate workshops in Southern California where I reside. A few of them will be injected with a new spirit of wondrous individuals, co-teachers who came to be such sweet and precious friends to me. I am absolutely passionate about these gatherings as they provide us with new leases on the art/life connection through this beautiful practice. And to balance it all so beautifully I will also be traveling to a few faraway places like Australia (in less than a week), Whidbey Island, England, Ireland, and Mexico.
Here are the workshops/retreats announcements for 2014. They can be always found on my blog at http://oneartistjournal.com/workshops-and-retreats/
