 I learned a word! Ephemera

As children, whenever I’d ‘come up’ with a new word—my brother would tease me, declaring sarcastically “She learned a word”. Well, I learned a word and I am excited about it. Did you ever get excited about a word? Anyway, I learned it from an upbeat and talented lady named Kelly Kilmer, who in her workshop, not only taught me this new word but also how to make these miniature books/little journals. Once you assemble a little book like that and wildly collage on it’s pages..you are hooked! You are warned.. It is infectious, addictive and therefore dangerous. So in the frenzy of putting it together I learned ‘it’. Funnily pronounced, Ephemera, is (‘finally’ you say) “Transitory written and printed matter not intended to be preserved”, which basically means miscellaneous papers, rappers, quotes, cartoons, stickers and such. Sooooo much fun!—2 more book(lets) are coming up soon!.

These books are so cute and adorable, but most of all artistic and creative. Who would think that looking at tiny misshaped booklets would make one so happy. Great job!
