spread-029-why-not-create How long will we go without noticing the significance of the mountains, the valleys, the rivers, and the beat within us? How numb will we get before we take note of the magnificence of the tree tops, the flower petals, the butterfly wings, and the color all around us? Why are we waiting so long to make the recording of such landscapes a ritual? Let’s allow automatic writing, drawing, painting, doodling, scribbling and collaging to take the place of automatic breathing.

This is one other ‘tiny book’ I made—-it is only 2” x 5” but it contains much. 🙂

Glassine: a new word I had to look up.

Orly: Glassine envelopes were originally used for stamp collectors to hold their stamps. I am fond of them as they come in many odd shapes and they are not clear nor opaque…they are great revealers/concealers.

I really like this post. It clinches my top 5. I love the opaque birds fading into the new pages of your journals. Two new discoveries from this post. The word Glassine, and an awesome new quote. 😀

How true.
We take in all nature’s beauty as ‘normal, day-to-day landscapes’ instead of amazing, creativity-inspiring places that we are privileged to pass daily.

I like your mini-books. The pages are filled with utter randomness, but that I like 😀
