Spread #33 – 2009 Wishes January 1, 2009

Posted by Orly in Spreads.

spread-33-2009-wishes Learn to fly in 2009–fear not the blank sky. Do what you please with your new year. It is our nature to be free, and it is our need to nurture that freedom. Remember you, and allow the beauty that comes into being. There are many ways to take to the air and the sky is lucent. Give your mind a rest! Dance, sing, write your words, your paths, and your travels. Draw your landscapes. Sketch your rooms. Doodle as you daydream. Paint your colors, your yearnings. Express routinely, convey, portray, explore, examine, try, experiment, provoke, and evoke. Awaken to your senses. See, listen, smell, taste, touch, and breathe deeply. Don’t be shy. Fly! Create! Forget pretty, remember spontaneous. Ask and answer, say, speak, and tell a story. Be bold. Fear not the blank page for it is your companion…accepting, forgiving, ready to receive, eager to absorb the ink. The sky is wide, deep, clear, and awaiting your flight. My wishes of freedom go to you, people I know, and to people I do not know, especially to those in faraway lands who are deprived of freedom of many kinds and whose skies are cloudy.

May your new year be filled with light and joy–Orly

I totally agree with this post. 😀 It totally makes sense; it’s true and pure, the message you’re portraying – we need to explore the wonders everywhere.
Have a great new year.

Orly: Dear Renee, Keeping and maintaining an artist journal blog is taking a lot of my time and energy and occupying a lot of my thoughts. It is comments like yours that remind me why I’m doing this. Thank you from my heart and wishes of love to you.
