Spread 182 – The Voice August 28, 2012

Posted by Orly in Uncategorized.

No matter what form my voice takes it cannot help itself but to be mine. This is what I concluded from ‘The Voice’- a 2-day workshop I taught this last weekend in San Diego. Coincidently I came home today in time to listen to an interview I gave on Art & Soul Radio with Lesley Riley, one that aired this afternoon. That would be the first time I’d listen to my voice speaking publicly. I was afraid it would sound peculiar to me. Surprisingly it sounded just like me.

It would be great to have you Thalia, and of course I’ll inscribe something sweet in your book. The workshop is on October 20.

I’ve never “heard” your voice, but I love seeing it. Takes my breath away. (Btw, the postcard event worked well — all thanks to you! Thank you!!)

enjoyable and inspiring interview….I was most captivated when you talked about leaving your mind out of the studio…your are so right the mind/ego does not play fair and monkey/judging mind does not belong on the playground. Sometimes the loneliness of the studio gets so hard & you want to belong to “out there” so bad, you lose focus of what is really important and that is giving the “soul bird” inside a way to manifest. Thank you so much for reminding me. I needed to hear that and it is like a blessing.

Your comment really moved me Marie, thank you so much for that, you are so kind.

I love the layering and the depth. The connection between the two pages is fantastic. Even though the colors are bold the flower makes it so peaceful. 😉

What a relief that you sounded like you!
