Spread 215 – Merging Forces July 15, 2013

215-Merging ForcesThere is something so powerful about allowing opposite emotions to be felt while creating in the visual language. Courageous and fearful, ugly and beautiful, life-full and lifeless gestures. About offering skeletons and roses to one spread of a visual-journal. About painting black and white, side by side. One grand explosion of forceful energies, flowing from the inside of journal pages, outside, and back. It’s the essence of it all.

I agree, just when I think you’ve created my favourite piece of your art…another fills me with pleasure, …eye candy and deep connection at the same time…x

I just LOVE your journal pages. Beautiful and raw and honest. So looking forward to your workshop in Nov.

Love how opposites share the space so easily and beautifully.

When I look at your spreads I want to be the light that bathes your work while you do create so that I can take in every amazing moment.

I agree! And what you’ve done is absolutely gorgeous, and extraordinarily interesting. Beautiful work!

The tensions that rise when opposite emotions collide is definitely fuel for strong and powerful art!

This is precisely the kind of inspiration that I needed to help me see through to my own inner world and that it will be okay, better than that, if I allow myself to just let it go and paint it, in confidence that my journal will keep my secrets safe unless I want them to be shared.

Yeah! So excited to see all the creative work you are doing. What a cutie in your white dress and tights.
