A Nature Adventure On An Island In The Pacific Northwest August 6, 2013

Here are images reflecting on my experience of teaching a 5-day art journaling workshop to 10 magnificent beings in the beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington. For once I have no words to describe it, the humbling closeness we all shared, the openness of hearts, and the freedom of spirits. A continuous feast of life, art, nature, and humanity collaborating, entwining, celebrating wonderments. Hours of class lingering into hours of connectedness in to the beautiful evenings of this enchanted island.

Arriving and finding colors, textures, serenity.

Delighting in the fruit of the earth.

Marveling at the vast capacity of humans to create, something out of nothing.

Elated to find that I am elated. Grateful, love-ful, living my true self, poetically, unapologetically.
